WWE Network Subscriber Numbers Revealed, RAW Preview, Brie Bella Banned From Celebrating?

WWE Network Reaches over 600,000 Subscribers


STAMFORD, Conn., April 7, 2014 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced that WWE Network has 667,287[1] subscribers and is well on its way to reaching its goal of 1 million subscribers by the end of 2014 just 42 days after launching in the U.S., making it the fastest-growing digital subscription service. This announcement comes following a historic WrestleMania® 30, which aired live on WWE Network as well as on pay-per-view through satellite and cable providers from a sold-out Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

WWE Network launched on February 24 in the U.S. and will be rolled out in Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Nordics in late 2014/early 2015.

Post Wrestlemania RAW Preview

Tonight’s much anticipated post-Wrestlemania RAW is live from the Smoothie King Center, in New Orleans. There’s no telling which big stars will show up, but as noted yesterday Sting suggested he’s working next year’s Wrestlemania, which could mean he appears as early as tonight. It’s believed RVD is also back with the company.

Just because Undertaker’s streak ended doesn’t mean he’s retired, though since he was hospitalized with a possible concussion last night, it’s not clear if he’ll appear on RAW. are hyping the following 5 points for tonight’s episode:

– How will Daniel Bryan address the WWE Universe on Raw tonight? And will Triple H or The Authority have anything to say to a so-called “B+ player” becoming the face of WWE?

– Do Brock Lesnar or Paul Heyman intend to address the stunning victory? And does it mark the end of The Deadman?

– Is one victory enough for John Cena to finally rid himself of the Wyatt Family?

– What’s next for Cesaro?

– What lies ahead for the Shield, one of the strongest trios in WWE history?
