Two WWE Name Changes

It appears Antonio Cesaro has dropped the Antonio part of his name and will now only be going by Cesaro. Both his profile and Twitter account have been updated to reflect this.

NXT star Leo Kruger has also changed his name as well as gimmick. He’s now going by Adam Rose, which irked an actor of the same name:

“So a pro wrestler named Leo Kruger changed his name to Adam Rose and started using the hashtag #Rosebuds. Why’d it have to be a wrestler?”

Hall of Fame Airing On WWE Network

Triple H will announce on tonight’s WWE Main Event that this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony will be airing in full on the Network. The event takes place on Saturday, April 5, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, ahead of Sunday’s Wrestlemania.

Terry Funk Discusses CM Punk Situation

WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk discussed the CM Punk situation in an interview with the UK’s Fighting Spirit Magazine:

It’s a smart move on [Punk’s] part. If you look at what Vince has done, if someone has drawn him some money they will be on the card at WrestleMania, no matter what has happened between them. CM Punk will be back, because if he isn’t, Vince leaves money on the table.

If being in the last match at WrestleMania is his wish, then he’s going to try and make it come true, the only way possible. He’s put the ball back in Vince’s court, and that’s difficult because Vince has the only court. This is what made it so good about having several places to go [in years past].

Do you think CM Punk worries about the dollars? For all the great ones, it’s not about that. They might tell you that they’re in it for the money, but they’re not – they’re in it for the performance, and so is CM Punk.
