McDevitt Calls Out Frazier’s Lawyer
WWE’s Jerry McDevitt called out the lawyer of Casandra Frazier, for filing a lawsuit against WWE over the death of Big Daddy V – Viscera. They are attempting to piggyback on the other concussion lawsuits, despite Viscera dying of a heart attack. McDevitt told the Boston Herald:
They just ignore these things and allege whatever they feel like alleging. You can’t do that as a lawyer. You have to be basing your allegations on a reasonable investigation of the facts. It’s not some creative writing exercise to see if you can get media attention. It’s an embarrassment to be a lawyer sometimes. It’s ridiculous that someone can … try to blame someone because a gentleman with a weight problem died of a heart attack in the shower eight years after he last performed. It’s ridiculous to try and blame someone for that.
Japanese Legend In WWE Hall of Fame
It was revealed at last night’s SmackDown taping that Japanese star Tatsumi Fujinami will be inducted in to this year’s WWE Hall of Fame. The 61 year old New Japan legend helped pioneer the junior heavyweight division, ironically after winning the WWWF Junior Heavyweight Championship in 1978 and taking it back to Japan.
He also had a few high profile appearances for WCW, which saw him beat Ric Flair for the World Championship in 1991, though it is rarely recognized.
Brock Lesnar Re-Signing With WWE?
According to WWE insider MetsFan4Ever on Reddit, the feeling is that Brock Lesnar will sign on for another year with WWE. Word is that Triple H is pushing for Lesnar to get the victory at Wrestlemania.
The reason Bryan and Cena have been added to the midcard title pictures is for there to be something important on house shows, which Lesnar doesn’t do.
Whether this will actually happen or not is yet to be seen.
