Watch Mini WWE Tough Enough, Naomi Gets New Trademark, Future Batista Movies Get Dates

Watch Tryout At Performance Center

WWE have uploaded a 10 minute mini documentary from a recent tryout at the Performance Center in Orlando, showing hopefuls training in the ring and cutting promos. It features a lot of unknowns, but also independent stand-outs like Rich Swann. You can also see former WCW stars Bill DeMott and Norman Smiley in their roles as trainers, as well as UK veteran Robbie Brookside.

Nobody from this particular tryout ended up with a contract.

At one point WWE were planning to do a new series of Tough Enough on the Network based on the Performance Center, but due to budget cuts it got cancelled for the foreseeable future.

WWE Trademarks Slayomi

WWE recently trademarked the Slayomi for Diva Naomi. It’s not immediately clear what it will be for – a move, nickname etc – but the company doesn’t trademark anything unless it’s going to be pushed and used to make money in some way.

The Total Divas cast member hasn’t had much ring action as of late.

Guardians of The Galaxy 2 Release Date

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 staring former WWE star Batista as Drax The Destroyer, has had its release date bumped up to May 05, 2017. Batista will also be reprising the role in the 2018 and 2019 Avengers movies as well.

WWE couldn’t be further from his to-do list these days, and after the way they booked his return who can blame him?
