Vince A Billionaire, Viscera’s Wife Apologizes, Rollins Talks NXT, Bryan More Over Than Foley?

Vince McMahon Is A Billionaire Again

Forbes have recognized Vince McMahon’s Billionaire status in their updated list. They record his personal wealth at $1.2 billion.

While McMahon has been an on and off billionaire over the years, this is the first time he’s been officially recognized by the financial publication.

Viscera’s Wife Apologizes To WWE

Nelson Frazier’s wife has apologized for the negative comments she made about WWE on Facebook, in the heat of the moment. In a new update she wrote:

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE TIME TO APOLOGIZE TO THE WWE FOR ALL THE HORRIBLE THINGS THAT I SAID ABOUT YOUR COMPANY! ESPECIALLY VINCE, IT WAS UNCALLED FOR AND I AM VERY SORRY, BUT I LOST MY BEST FRIEND AND THE ONLY MAN I EVER LOVED AND I WAS VERY ANGRY. PLEASE FORGIVE ME AND ALSO TO YOUR FANS, HE WAS A GOOD MAN, AND HE LOVED VINCE, STEPHANIE, AND TRIPLE H, AND I HAD NO RIGHT TO SAY THE THINGS THAT I SAID!I DON’T WANT MY MOURNING TO AFFECT HIS LEGACY BECAUSE I WAS HURT, ITS NOT HIS FAULT OF THE UGLY THINGS THAT I SAID.

Mick Foley Says Daniel Bryan Is THE Guy

In an interview with RVMag.com Mick Foley revealed that he has no plans to write any more books. He also discussed his recent outspokenness over the Daniel Bryan character, saying Bryan is more over than he ever was:

You know what, this is the truth. I’m not pandering to Virginia right now. Not that I’m above it, but I’m not right now. I was helping my son with his Civil War homework. Luckily, unlike almost everything else my kids study in school, I do know a lot about the Civil War. When Robert E. Lee’s name came up, I said that one of the things that made him a great general was that when he signed the treaty at Appomattox Court House, he knew that the gig was up. He knew when to surrender. Literally, that night, I thought I should be like Robert E. Lee, because to fight this thing would just drag myself and the people who like me down. I’ve decided instead to look all of the positives that WWE has to offer instead of being this voice crying out in the darkness about the way I think things should be run. Besides, there’s a good chance they’ll turn it around. If they do and WrestleMania ends in 75,000 people on their feet chanting ‘Yes! Yes!’, I’ll be the first one to admit I was wrong.

I was never the guy. He is THE guy. People are showing up specifically to cheer him on and follow him on this journey. My title victory over The Rock was importantly historically because of the number of people who switched channels to WWE from WCW during what we called The Monday Night Wars. But I was always like the third or fourth guy. I had a lot of layers to the characters and put a lot of myself into those characters so that people could make an emotional connection. I’m beyond flattered and thankful that people still remember me so fondly fourteen years after I stopped wrestling full-time, but I was never as popular at any given point or time as Daniel is right now and I will stand by that completely.

Seth Rollins Praises Developmental

In an interview with Red Eye Chicago, Seth Rollins said that despite the way some fans see developmental, he greatly benefited from it:

I think the couple of years in developmental was really starting to get me impatient. It’s not a bad thing that you get that mindset because you want to be on the main roster and working with the top guys. I spent a lot of time on the independent scene honing my craft, so I thought I was ready from day one. But the time I spent in NXT was the best things that could happen in my career. It gave me the mindset that I could succeed at the highest level.

When it was time to get called up and The Shield was ready to make an impact, I was nervous, excited, but most importantly prepared for [it]. I think that preparation and confidence came across well in front of the WWE universe.
