Triple H In Non-WWE Hall of Fame

STAMFORD, Conn. — Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative and 13-time World Champion in WWE, will be inducted into the 2015 International Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio.

Levesque will join the class of 2015, which includes five-time world boxing champion Evander Holyfield, eight-time Ms. Olympia bodybuilding champion Lenda Murray, martial artist and world-renowned movie star Michael Jai White, 11-time world kickboxing champion Don Wilson and world powerlifting champion Ed Coan.

“We are excited for Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque to headline the International Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2015 for his accomplishments both in and out of the WWE ring,” said Dr. Bob Goldman, Founder, ISHOF. “In addition to being inducted as one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time, Paul will be recognized for the work he has done as a WWE executive, becoming the first executive inducted into the Hall of Fame.”

“It is an honor to join some of the world’s greatest athletes and to be inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame,” Levesque said. “These men and women have reached the pinnacle of their sport or athletic endeavor, and I am humbled to join them on stage at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival.”

The International Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit foundation established to honor world-class athletes and is part of the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival, the world’s largest annual sports weekend, hosting 150,000 attendees and more than 18,000 competing athletes.

Members of the International Sports Hall of Fame include Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino, two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin and NBA Hall of Famer Earl Monroe.

Road Warrior Animal Speaks Out

Since The Ascension promo on RAW seems to have caused a lot of controversy (mainly because of comments made by Lance Storm) Road Warrior Animal himself released the following statement:

Wrestling fans I did not hear the Ascension promo I don’t want to hear it I don’t care to hear it. It’s the Wrestling business. When we started we tore up the Funks and Briscoes it has to be done, they need to get on Hawk and I or it means nothing. What are they going to say watch out Mulkeys? They will have a hard time getting over they way it is if slamming the Road Warriors helps them then great! Everyone was worried at first with Demolition and I said they are my friends and I hope they make it. It was respect. Everyone knows often unstated never duplicated. The only thing missing is common RESPECT. Nothing else needs to be said. No biggie. Oh What a Rush!

The Ascension said they were better than the Road Warriors and then Connor screamed “Yeaahhhh what a joke!”

Lance Storm Tweeted that it was distasteful because Hawk is no longer with us.

Daniel Bryan Back In Action Next Week

It seems Daniel Bryan’s recovery has gone well as he will be back in the ring at next week’s house shows. He’s also expected to wrestle on SmackDown.
