TLC Results and Fallout, Main Roster Motivated By NXT, Lesnar and Reigns Back At Rumble, RAW Preview

Steve Austin Praises Ziggler and Harper

Steve Austin had some positive words for Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper who opened up last night’s Tables Ladder Chairs and Stairs. “Hellacious ladder match w @HEELZiggler and @LukeHarperWWE. @WWE #WWE #TLC Great action. Great bumps. Great finish,” wrote the Hall of Famer on Twitter. Ultimately Ziggler picked up the victory and won the IC Championship.

Both stars were very banged up and were busted open “hard way” during the match.

Here’s what else went down:

– The New Day def. Gold & Stardust (Kickoff Match). You can watch the full pre-show here:

– The Usos def. The Miz & Damien Mizdow (c) by disqualification (WWE Tag Team Championship Match) after Miz used his Slammy as a weapon.

– Big Show def. Erick Rowan (Steel Stairs Match), when he used the steps to help pin Rowan.

– John Cena def. Seth Rollins (Tables Match), after Roman Reigns appeared and cleared the ring of interference.

– Nikki Bella (c) def. AJ Lee (Divas Championship Match) after Nikki blinded AJ with an aerosol can.

– Ryback def. Kane (Steel Chairs Match).

– Rusev (c) def. Jack Swagger (United States Championship Match), with the Accolade.

– Bray Wyatt def. Dean Ambrose (TLC Match) after a TV monitor “blew up” in Ambrose’s face.

NXT Rookies Motivate TLC Superstars

After such a well received NXT Revolution event, insider MetsFan4Ever says the main roster stars were particularly motivated for TLC and somewhat annoyed as well, because they generally aren’t allowed to compete at the same level on RAW or PPV.

I’m told tensions are at a fever pitch and have been all day. Many guys on the card tonight want to go out of their way to be the match of the night. The feeling is that a small company rivalry has started between the main roster and the NXT roster. Many agree that is good for all sides involved.

What is usually a lighter atmosphere many hours before doors open is not the case today. I’m told that it is very quiet backstage and that talent is very focused on the show tonight. They know the NXT show is going to be considered “show of the year” among many and they want this TLC show to rival or top it.

Many of the main matches have already been rehearsed. There was a giant black curtain covering the ringside area so nobody outside of the main players know what is going to happen tonight.

MetsFan4Ever is a Reddit user who has predicted many PPV outcomes and is believed to be a WWE employee.

Adam Pearce Back At NXT

Former NWA Champ Adam Pearce was back at NXT during Takeover, working as an agent. He’s previously had guests spots as a trainer as well. He wrote on Facebook:

Suffice it to say that working as a producer on WWE/NXT Takeover: [R]Evolution is one of the most incredible experiences of my professional life. I am grateful to everyone that has supported and helped me along the way. Never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns Confirmed For Royal Rumble
