Smith Hart Wants Lesnar vs Shamrock, JR On Styles To WWE, Main Event Hiatus

Smith Hart Wants Brock Lesnar vs Ken Shamrock At Wrestlemania

Smith HartIn his latest PWMania.com blog, Smith Hart of the legendary Hart family talks about booking Brock Lesnar for WWE WrestleMania 30, Sting vs. The Undertaker and more.

“I think Wrestlemania 30 is best suited to have Lesnar face Ken Shamrock. At first this match may sound inferior to the aforementioned Lesnar-Taker. However I pose that having the two biggest draws in the history of UFC head to head for the first time ever at the 30th anniversary of the grandest spectacle on the planet could help draw many UFC fans to the WWE product heading into this crucial year.”

Shamrock has recently been angling for a return to wrestling, but has not received any offers from TNA or WWE. The former IC and NWA Champ worked an Indy show in Costa Rico over the weekend to brush up on his skills.

Smith Hart continues:

“As for The Undertaker, I’m sure I am part of the large populous of fans who are hoping that Sting lets his current TNA contract expire so that he can have that one epic match against The Undertaker on the grandest stage of them all.”

JR Discusses Possibility of AJ Styles Jumping To WWE

Jim Ross chimed in on the buzz around AJ Styles possibly jumping to WWE in his latest JRSBARBQ.com blog.

“Will WWE sign AJ Styles? I’d have zero clue on that one but I would say it’s a long shot at best. Not because AJ isn’t an outstanding talent, because he is, but I get the feeling WWE wants to create new stars and those new stars are going to come from the WWE Performance Center exclusively.”

He also discussed whether he thinks Dolph Ziggler is being punished with a lack of push:

“Is WWE ‘punishing’ Dolph Ziggler? No. If WWE wanted to ‘punish’ Ziggler they would simply not use him on TV and allow him to fade into obscurity. More fans should use their common sense on this one. Dolph is hugely talented and, generally, athletes who are on Ziggler’s level overcome any perceived obstacles. The key is to not check out and to keep turning heads.”

Main Event On Hiatus Over Holidays

WWE Main Event on Ion will be on hiatus for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The show will return as normal the following week.
