RAW: Rey Mysterio Returns, New IC Champ, NXT Star Debuts

Here’s the top stories coming out of last night’s WWE RAW from Nashville, Tennessee.

Rey Mysterio Returns To Help Bryan And Punk

Rey Mysterio returnsAfter confirming that he’d be at the show to local media Rey Mysterio made his official return to help Daniel Bryan and CM Punk fend off The Real Americans after a huge 12-man main event, which saw Bryan, Punk, The Usos & WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Goldust def. The Shield & The Wyatt Family, after Punk hit the GTS on Dean Ambrose.

When The Real Americans hit the ring to give an unfair advantage in the post-match melee, Rey Mysterio made his surprise return, hitting the 619 on Luke Harper and Jack Swagger.

Two Traditional Survivor Series Matches Announced

The big traditional Survivor Series match is not quite what was expected after last week, but will feature Cody Rhodes, Goldust, The Usos and a mystery partner vs. The Shield, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro.

A Diva’s elimination tag has also been added to the card, pitting Divas champ AJ Lee, Tamina, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, Aksana, Kaitlyn, Rosa Mendes vs. “Team Total Divas” The Bellas, The Funkadactyls, Natalya, Eva Marie, JoJo.

Xavier Woods Debuts

Xavier Woods made his main roster debut as the new tag partner of R-Truth. The duo defeated Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal of 3MB. Woods used the “Honor Roll” clothesline and “Lost in the Woods” boot to the face for the win.

He is of course former TNA wrestler Consequences Creed.

The Miz Turns Heel

The Miz essentially turned heel during his tag team match with Kofi Kingston against The Real Americans, when he left Kingston to fend for himself. He teased the turn during the European tour.

Big E. Langston Wins IC Title

Big E. Langston defeated Curtis Axel to win the Intercontinental Championship after he reversed Axel’s neckbreaker and connected with the Big Ending.

Legends Announced For Survivor Series

WWE Hall of Famers Bret Hart, Mick Foley and Booker T will be appearing as the expert panel at Survivor Series.

    entertaining raw again, specially the main event was very nice :) and a headshot with the guitar, I wonder if they actually had permit for that or will ziggler be suspended now.
