RAW Preview, RVD’s Return, Main Event To Air Live, Lesnar At NASCAR

Big Names Set For Tonight’s RAW

There are several big names set for tonight’s RAW from from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, as well as a strong rumor that CM Punk will be making his return.

Brock Lesnar will be responding to the attack last week from the Undertaker, and Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul will be guest hosting to promote his movie Need For Speed.

WWE.com is hyping the following 5 points:

– Guess what? Batista doesn’t like you very much, either.

– Ready for Round Two? The Shield and The Wyatt Family are set to collide yet again, in a 6-man tag.

– Daniel Bryan can’t have the WWE World Heavyweight Championship just yet. But perhaps he can have Triple H.

– The exact state of Cena’s injury is unknown, but it’s unlikely he’s going to let this go by without some kind of response before long. What – if anything – can we expect from the wounded Cena?

– Aaron Paul is headed to WWE’s flagship show as the special guest star.

RVD Returning For Summerslam?

RVD noted on Twitter over the weekend that he’s planning to be back for Summerslam.

As previously noted the ECW Original signed a deal that will see him take regular breaks between runs.

WWE Main Event Airing Live On Network

WWE Main Event will be the first main roster show to air live on the WWE Network. This week’s episode will be broadcast Tuesday at 7 PM Eastern, which is a day before it’s seen on Ion.

Various agreements will keep most of WWE’s flagship programming from airing live, though they’ll be making the likes of RAW and SmackDown available on VOD 30 days after their initial broadcast.
