Magnus Crowned New TNA Champion, Chavo Fired?

As broadcast on this week’s Impact Wrestling, Magnus defeated Jeff Hardy in a Dixieland match to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Going in to the bout there was concern about Jeff Hardy, having been filmed meeting secretly with Dixie Carter. However it was all a swerve. During the match Rockstar Spud pushed Hardy off the Ladder and Magnus got the victory. The new face of TNA!

Also this week the contents of the four Feast or Fired briefcases were revealed. Zema Ion – X-Division Championship Match, Gunner – World Heavyweight Championship Match, EC3 – Tag Team Championship Match, Chavo Guerrero – Fired.

It looks like Chavo is legit done with the company. He wrote on Twitter:
“Thanks for all the support! Remember, the Guerrero brand is bullet-proof! We’ve been champs everywhere we’ve been. We don’t die, multiply!”

December 19, 2013, TNA Impact Results

– Eric Young managed to book Joseph Park against Bad Influence next week in a Monster’s Ball match. He wants further evidence that Park is really Abyss.

– Madison Rayne & ODB def. Gail Kim & Lei’d Tapa, when Madison got the backslide on Gail.

– Dixie Land Match: Magnus def. Jeff Hardy to become the new World Heavyweight Champion, after Rockstar Spud launched Hardy off the Ladder.

Extra Tapings In UK

Dixie Carter announced on Twitter that the Manchester leg of the upcoming UK tour will see two Impact tapings:

“I’ve decided to tape 2 Impact TV’s in Manchester, Eng on 1/31. Got important business to take care of that night. Don’t miss it. #GonnaBeFun”

This likely means that the One Night Only PPV taping has been replaced by the Impact episode.
