Arrest Warrant Issued For Ric Flair In North Carolina

DirecTV First To Drop WWE PPVs?
Naturally the PPV providers are not happy that WWE have decided to go “over the top” with their Network and offer PPVs in-house. The first company to show their frustration is DirecTV. They said in a statement:
“Clearly we need to quickly re-evaluate the economics and viability of their business with us, as it now appears the WWE feels they do not need their PPV distributors.”
They also took a jab at the company, mentioning that buys have “been steadily declining, and this new low-cost competitive offering will only accelerate this trend.”
WWE are hoping to offer both traditional and Network PPVs to ensure they reach the most fans possible, though it’s possible DirecTV and others will remove them to make a point. Most likely it will come down to whether money can still be made.
