Jerry Lawler was hospitalized this week with Diverticulitis, a digestive disease which took Brock Lesnar out of the UFC. It involves the intestines or colon becoming inflamed and damaged, which in turn can cause severe pain, fever and digestive problems.
The issue can be exacerbated by an infection and may require surgery.
In Lesnar’s case it’s believed he ate too much meat and didn’t have varied diet.
Lawler most likely won’t be at RAW on Monday.
Roman Reigns Rejects John Cena Comparison
In a recent interview with WNS Podcast, Roman Reigns rejected criticisms that he is becoming similar to John Cena:
When I first started wrestling, I got a lot of comparisons to a lot of different people. Razor Ramon, The Rock. I had a bunch of different qualities and characteristics of former guys. I’m not trying to be the next anybody. I’m trying to be the very first Roman Reigns that’s all I can do. I’m not out to be somebody that I’m not. I know who I am and I know where I come from and I know where I want to go. It’s very flattering to be compared to someone who’s worked so hard and been so successful. I don’t want what he has, I want what I’m going to get.
Hulk Hogan Wants Last Match With WWE
When asked whether he was angling for a Wrestlemania 31 match, Hulk Hogan told the Cincinnati Enquirer:
I’m not angling for anything. I’m just angling to have my last match with this company. My last match that I had was not with this company, and I started with this company, and it just seems only fitting that, whatever it is, this is where I should have my final match, and I haven’t have it yet. I’m training like I’m gonna get a shot at the world title next week, so I’m in great shape. I’m back down under 300 pounds, down to 295, training every day at the gym. I’m ready for the call of duty if they need me.
