Kurt Angle Hasn’t Decided His Fate After September
TNA Hall of Famer Kurt Angle told TSN 1290 on Friday that he has not decided what to do when his contract expires in September. He said he’s happy in TNA and they’ve always done right by him, but he also has the desire to retire with WWE.
As noted previously, TNA are generally offering talent much lower paid deals when their contracts are expiring. This could play a role in Angle’s decision.
That being said there is a lot of speculation about Angle’s health and whether WWE’s doctors would clear him to be an active performer.
Kurt says he believes he has about 5 years left in the ring.

Jack Swagger Discusses How He Originally Joined WWE
Jack Swagger discussed how he was scouted for the WWE, in a recent interview with The Oklahoman:
I had met Jim Ross and Jerry Brisco before I was even in college and they always told me to get your degree first and then we’ll give you a shot if you want to come try your hand with the WWE. I graduated in May 2006, flew out to Atlanta for a week to tryout, and by July 2006 I was signed and training in Atlanta. I took a little bit different path than most WWE superstars have taken. I’m one of the few superstars who have gone through all three of the developmental camps.
