Josh Mathews Released: Backstage At IMPACT

WWE commentator and host Josh Mathews was released this week and was spotted at last night’s IMPACT tapings at the Manhattan Center in New York. No word on if TNA are interested, or if he was just visiting friends.

The reason for Mathews’ WWE departure is not clear, he’s always been considered good at his job and has most recently been the glue that held together a lot of the WWE Network content.

TNA Taking Bound For Glory PPV To Japan

TNA’s Dixie Carter and Wrestle-1’s the Great Muta announced at a press conference yesterday in New York, that Bound For Glory will take place in Tokyo Japan. The October 12, PPV will be held at the legendary Korakeun Hall.

It’s not clear how the company will work out the time difference, but most likely the event will be pre-taped. Of course this is a catch 22, if it goes amazingly well they’ll get some last minute buys, but if it goes badly people may just be happy with reading the spoilers.

Team 3D will be inducted in to the Hall of Fame during the event.

Former WWE stars Snitsky and Ezekiel Jackson are now members of Team Dixie, along with MMA star King Mo who is back with the promotion.
