Mick Foley Praises John Cena’s Promo Work

Mick Foley put over John Cena’s closing promo from RAW in a recent Tweet:

“I’ll get flack for this, but @JohnCena cuts some damn good promos. His rescue of #RAW’s final segment was a work of art. #DugOutOfaDeepHole”

WWE Lists Interesting Performance Center Facilities has a feature listing “10 things you didn’t know about the WWE Performance Center.”

1) Coaching staff have more than 200 years of experience.

2) There’s a custom-built aerial ring for NXT’s high-flyers to safely practice … the mat is made of crash pad material.

3) Live cameras in the facility give real-time feedback to The Chairman and other executives at WWE HQ.

4) WWE NXT talents can record and review all of their work on the facility’s many iPads.

5) The ring bell from the inaugural WrestleMania hangs in the facility.

6) Talents develop their personas under the guidance of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes.

7) WWE NXT talents train for strength and conditioning in a 5,500-square foot gym.

8) The Divas train under a female coach for the first time in developmental history. (Sara Del Ray).

9) A cutting edge physical therapy and “pre-hab” room helps prevent injuries before they happen.

10) Former Olympians, NBA cheerleaders and NFL players all train at the WWE Performance Center.

Wrestlecade Draws 2,000 Fans

2,000 fans showed up for the recent Wrestlecade event from Winston-Salem, NC, with over 100 stars on the card. Here’s a mash-up of what went down to preview the DVD release:

One interesting clip features Kevin Sullivan talking about old school vs modern heels. There’s a funny moment during the video where Robbie E is cutting a promo in the ring and Sullivan calls it cheap heat:
