Drake Younger Takes Referee Position

Independent star Drake Younger who recently joined WWE developmental, has actually signed on as a referee. He’ll be going by the name Drake Wuertz.

The 29 year old is known for his death match wrestling, so perhaps this is his way of easing up on his body while staying in the wrestling business.

WWE Music Lawsuit Settled

The lawsuit against WWE by James Papa (creator of Badstreet, USA, and several WCW themes) has been settled privately. Papa claimed WWE were using his material without having the rights, though WWE claimed those rights rolled over from WCW.

The terms of the settlement are not public.

Former AWA Star Sentenced To 25 Years

Former AWA star Buck Zumhofe has been sentenced to 25 years in prison, after being convicted of multiple criminal sexual conduct counts, against his own daughter from the age of 15.

He still awaits sentencing for attempting to flee court after the trial.


Another veteran – Stephen Ketcher – who wrestled as WWF jobber Steve Gatorwol in the 80s, has been charged with seven counts of sexual assault on a 15 year old girl.

He was arrested in Jacksonville, Florida yesterday.

Lebron Joins Movie With Cena

Lebron James has joined the cast of upcoming comedy movie Trainwreck, which also stars John Cena.

Dolph Ziggler’s ex-girlfriend – comedian Amy Schumer – also has a part.

    As a referee?? Now that is interesting. Maybe he’ll be at some storyline, where the referee gets assaulted on every match. Neck bump on a chair or something light for Drake :D
