Dixie Nearly Gets Tabled On IMPACT, NXT Star Debuts, New Stable Update

May 01, 2014, TNA IMPACT Results

– MVP makes Eric Young’s potential opponents draw cards for a title shot. Bobby Roode draws high, so Gunner and Anderson must face off first, with the winner facing Roode.

– Magnus is hot because he didn’t get a title shot. Abyss comes through the crowd and attacks.

– Gunner defeated Ken Anderson when James Storm interfered.

– Former NXT star Kenneth Cameron (of the Acension) debuted as Magnus’ “old friend” Bram. He called Magnus a disgrace and said he’s let down his friends and family.

– EC3 held an exhibition match with Spud. He also announced that he’d be facing Kurt Angle next week on Impact. Angle came out and promised victory.

– Knux’s new stable the Managerie is coming to TNA.

The group is made up of Knux, his “sister” who is a non-wrestling friend of Christy Hemme’s, indy wrestler Steve “Crazzy Steve” Scott, and Rob Terry under a mask.

– Bobby Roode def. Gunner to earn a shot at EY.

– The Beautiful People get a letter from The Board Of Directors, telling them to carry themselves better, and to wear less revealing attire!

– Dixie Carter and Bully Ray had an in-ring encounter that nearly ended with Dixie going through a table. MVP stopped Bully mid-move and banned both from the Impact Zone.

– Willow defeated James Storm via disqualification.

– The Beautiful People defy the Board and begin to disrobe in the ring. However they stop midway and mock the fans, revealing that they wrote the letter all along and will not be disrobing. The other Knockouts attack and disrobe them anyway!

– The Wolves and Sanada defeated The Bromans and DJ Zema.

– World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young defeated Bobby Roode, with a top rope elbow.
