Daniel Bryan Won’t Make It To Money In The Bank
According to the Wrestling Observer Daniel Bryan’s neck recovery is going to take longer than first expected, and as of now he is out of the Money In the Bank PPV. The current plan is for the title to be vacated and put on the line at the PPV.
Bryan could be as stripped as soon as tonight’s RAW. Here are the five points being hyped for the show on WWE.com:
– Will Ambrose & Reigns attain retribution?
– How healthy is Daniel Bryan?
– Who will enter the Money in the Bank Ladder Match?
– Who will Damien Sandow be this week?
– If Bray Wyatt is “reborn” perhaps the group’s most heinous horrors have yet to be unleashed.
Jim Ross Suffers Head Injury and Stroke Symptoms
Jim Ross revealed more details about his recent stint in hospital, saying that not only was his insomnia medication giving him stroke like symptoms, but he actually suffered a minor stroke in the past. He also noted that he recently suffered memory loss after falling and hitting his head but kept it to himself:
After returning home from a great experience at the annual caulifloweralleyclub.org function in Las Vegas I had another issue of disorientation on Thursday upon landing in OKC and my wife insisted on taking me to the emergency room in Norman.
I was treated for stroke-like symptoms for two days in the hospital in their stroke care unit. I don’t remember Tuesday morning whatsoever including driving myself to the OKC airport, my wife as in Vegas already as I had to stay behind and record a podcast, nor do I recall boarding the plane in OKC for Vegas.
I presented Terry Taylor with a much deserved Iron Mike award at the CAC and have no memory of what I said. That’s scary. About a month ago I took a fall in our home that had me hitting my head on our wood floor but I no sold it and never mentioned it to my wife. I assumed that the loss of memory and lost days were a result of that.
After enduring multiple MRI’s and numerous tests on my brain and heart it was determined that my prolonged use of Ambien as a sleep aid to combat my insomnia was the primary culprit of my issues. Ambien is a ‘temporary’ solution to insomnia but I have been taking it for years. Not good. The side affects of Ambien are scary, read about them, of which now I know. If you are taking it, I strongly suggest that you consult your physician.
My meds have now been all adjusted and I am back on a healthy path of diet and exercise and, obviously, NO Ambien. The hallucinogenic issues with the drug are scary and I will never use that medication again.
One interesting thing that the MRI showed was that I actually did have a stroke years ago that went undetected. As is said in WWE, one can be sick at work just as easily as one can at work. I took one vacation there in 20+ years so I obviously loved my work. Old school work ethic can be both a blessing and a curse. That’s all on me as I could have taken a vacation any time that I had chosen.
Steve Austin, Jerry Lawler, and Vince McMahon called JR while he was in hospital.
Cena and Adam Rose Suffer Injuries
Both John Cena and Adam Rose suffered minor injuries during the recent Madison, Wisconsin house show.
Adam Rose was busted open hardway during a match with Heath Slater, and WWE doctors with gloves had to come down to sort him out. After the match he had to have 5 stitches.
John Cena received an errant finger poke from Wyatt’s glove, which caused the match to be ended early. It swelled up pretty bad and he worked a tag match in Rochester, Minnesota, instead of singles, because of the injury.
WWE Hiring Sting Look Alikes
WWE are hiring an orchestra of Sting “look alikes” to film footage for the upcoming DVD and the next WWE video game. The casting call notes:
Looking for an orchestra of 14 musicians, all with own instruments – ideally a full orchestra who play together regularly. They will be “fake” playing in the promo, music will be dubbed in. All will be wearing the face paint that Sting is known for (see attached pic). Must be OK with heavy face makeup. Any leads on full orchestras who would love to make some money, would be awesome!! Open to all ages (over 18) and for the most part, people will be unrecognizable.
They are looking for male and female talent, of ages 18 to 70, and all ethnicities.
They are also looking for a second single look alike between age 38-50, who is, “6’2, 250lb of pure muscle. Prefer a guy with wrestling experience, very fit. HEAVILY muscular. Slightly longer dark hair. Will have a full face of make up on. paying a higher rate as we need a GREAT double for this.”
In that regard it looks like Sting himself is not yet coming in, that or they don’t feel he looks the part any more!
