Batista Return Confirmed? Austin Talks Chris Benoit, SmackDown Results

Batista Returning For At Least One Appearance

Former WWE star Batista will be returning for at least one WWE appearance, as he is advertised for the live event on February 16, 2014, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Batista’s movie schedule is clear until the summer when he’ll be needed to promote Guardians of The Galaxy, so it’s possible that he may come back for a Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania run.

Steve Austin On Benoit HOF Question

Steve Austin answered a fan question on his podcast about whether Chris Benoit should be inducted in to the Hall of Fame. He said his career speaks for itself, but he’ll never get inducted.

In the Chris Benoit Conspiracy article I argue that the reason Benoit should never be inducted is not necessarily the crime itself, but the fact that his strong style contributed to his brain damage. In that sense you can’t remove his accomplishments from his downfall, because without that style he never would have made it to the top. Celebrating his career IS celebrating the murders.

Episode 2 of the Chris Benoit Files addressing the Kevin Sullivan theory will hopefully be online the first week of January. In the meantime here’s episode 1, looking at the Mysterious Wikipedia Entry:
