TNA Announces Return of Six Sided Ring
TNA officially announced on their website that they’ve listened to the fan votes and the 6 sided ring will be re-introduced, starting with the June 25-27 tapings in New York.
While the six sides were always a good way of setting TNA apart from WWE and the ring also aided the X-Division style matches, several wrestlers have spoken out recently that they themselves prefer the four sides. Austin Aries Tweeted that it was “his body” and it shouldn’t be a fan decision. It’s believed that the six sides make the ring a lot tougher.
James Storm also recently told Steve Austin on his podcast that he prefers the four sides.

Bully Ray recently gave a really interesting interview to SiriusXM’s Sam Roberts. He talks about keeping in character outside of the ring, his singles run, how he would advertise TNA, and much more:
Russo On TNA’s Ratings Drop
Vince Russo recently did a Q&A with TNA Insider and was asked about TNA’s ratings dropping since his departure:
There’s only one Vince Russo. There’s a certain way to write wrestling that I’m not sure everybody understands, or are capable of doing. It’s just a “style”, that’s all.
He also said Bruce Prichard getting involved with creative was one of the reasons he left, and that people put far too much stock on Hulk Hogan taking the company to a new level.
